Welcome to the "Freak Zone"
There is truly no other place like in on earth! Disney World offers you what no other vacation destination can, a trip complety away from reality. From the moment you enter the boundry of the Walt Disney World Resort, you are transported to another world that has no worries, crime, sadness, filth, and smiles from the entire family are the order of the day. It is truly spectacular, and for this and many other reasons I have been going to Disney World for fifteen years. And for each of those years, as soon as one trip is over, I start planning my next trip! This place is that great!! |
Who am I??
Well, my name is Mike and I am 30years old. My Disney Mania started fifteen years ago when I went to Disney World with my family. My family vacations up to that point usually consisted of a few days in the Smoky Mountains or an excursion to a thrill park like six-flags or Bush Gardens. Those were nice...but who knew what awaited us!
My family consists of my father, mother, brother, and sister who at the time of our first visit were ages mid 40's, late 30's, 11, and 8 ( I was 16). My father went to Disney kicking and screaming because my mother made him and he is almost as big of a Disney Nut as me!! Imagine trying to plan a vacation that keeps all these people happy all the time! Impossible, right? That is were Disney steps in to create the Perfect vacation experience! |
Well, what do I know?
With my experiences over each of the last fifteen years, and by watching that of my family, I have gained a good understanding about what attractions, parks, and resorts are home-runs, and which ones should should be put to pasture. I have gone to disney with my family as a "child" and with band students as performers. I have a wealth of experiences from this place that are just overwhelmingly wonderful(thus, the website!). |
My most recent trip...
FINALLY after a two-year absence from Disney I have made my return. My new girlfriend and I made the trek down to Disney in June of this year. It was fantastic from start to finish. To begin with, this was my first time using the Magical Express system, and it was great! The bus was waiting for us when we landed, and we were the only stop. We stayed at Disney's newest resort, Pop Century, and it was great! Check-in took a matter of minutes, and we were on our way to the parks! Our room had a view of Spaceship Earth, and we could see Illuminations from our room! What a great surprise! The parks were everything I have come to expect, and my new love and I had a great time. The new stuff....Soarin and Lights, Motor, Action were completely fantastic! Wishes was as magical as anything I have ever had seen at Disney! Where else in the world can you get emotional at a fireworks show? It was a great trip for us both and really brought our relationship to the next level! We can't wait to go back!
My Next Trip.....
Still counting the Disney dollars for the next trip.....but we hope to head down again in June 2007 and will likely be staying in Pop Century again! Time to download the Disney Countdown Clock again! |
